Who: SparkLogic Development, a small software company born out of the ISP/Hosting industry. We've built several profitable ISPs over the years, and can help you do the same with best-of-breed management, automation and provisioning products.
What: A customized web interface to OptiGold ISP, the best Billing/Management system for ISPs, Web Hosts, and just about any business that does recurring billing.
Why: While OptiGold does offer a standard web interface to many of its functions, I found the look and feel and some of the functionality lacking compared to the GUI interface. So, OptiSkin was born..
- Utilizes OptiWrap wrapper (ASP or PHP) for increased security.
- Totally new look and feel over "stock" OptiGold Web Interface pages
- Uses modern web technologies such as style sheets and include files for easy customizing
- ASP or PHP-based wrapper with Session-based user authentication - no more "View Source" revealing the username and password
- No third-party COM/ISAPI/Loadable Modules needed
- Eliminates the need to install the WSC Connector in order to do SSL - you can now do SSL natively
- More secure, totally eliminates direct customer access to FileMaker Web Companion
- Allows use of ASP or PHP to pull from or insert into external databases, etc
- Provides many additional enhancements not found in OptiGold's standard web interface (see individual skin pages for details)

For each skin you get the full source code, basic E-mail assistance in setting the system up on your box, and free upgrades until the next major revision of OptiGold ISP's Web Interface code (expected with the release of FileMaker 7). We do plan to stay
current with any changes made by the OptiGold ISP developers to the Web Interface functionality.
